ICLU: Draft Bill on Wiretapping: How Is It Regulated?

This edition of ICLU is discussing on the Draft Bill on Wiretapping and focusing on the model of the Wiretapping Law that will be part of the criminal justice system in Indonesia. The current regulation on Wiretapping is still in the short form and very diverse. The diversity of this laws becomes a problem due to contradiction with the transparency and legality principles of Wiretapping.

The Draft Bill on Wiretapping (Draft Bill) is initiated by the House of Representatives in an effort to reorder the criminal justice system in Indonesia, especially on Wiretapping.
